Indore, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav recently inaugurated a state-of-the-art 128-slice CT scan machine at MGM Medical College’s Super Specialty Hospital. Additionally, he unveiled a newly constructed (G+2) block at the Government Dental College, built at a cost of approximately Rs 6 crore. Donated by the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, the advanced CT scan machine is set to greatly enhance the hospital's diagnostic capabilities. CM Yadav officially opened the CT scan room by cutting the ribbon and received a detailed briefing on the machine's features. The new building, addressing space constraints highlighted by the Dental Council of India, was also inspected. Notably, the state government is further equipping the dental college with an OPG machine and 75 dental chair units through the Madhya Pradesh Public Health Corporation, benefiting students and outpatients alike. CM Yadav emphasized that these modern medical facilities underscore the government's dedication to enhancing healthcare services within the state. The advanced CT scan machine is poised to aid in early disease detection and precise diagnoses, while the new dental college block ensures top-notch facilities for dental students. Additionally, during his visit to Indore, CM Yadav visited the upcoming MR-10 ISBT, scheduled to be operational by December this year. He announced plans for Indore to host India's largest inter-state bus terminal, likened to an airport, which will significantly enhance the state's infrastructure.The infrastructure has been enhanced in preparation for the upcoming Simhastha religious gathering. The newly constructed 15-acre terminal, built at a cost of Rs 101 crore by IDA, is projected to improve the overall travel experience for passengers. It is capable of accommodating up to 80,000 passengers daily and 1,440 buses around the clock. The facility includes 14 ticket counters, a 1,000-vehicle parking area, 43 bus platforms, a VIP lounge, a food court, and various other amenities. Additionally, the Chief Minister inaugurated a library at Holkar Science College and assured employees at the Sanchi Dairy Plant that there would be no job cuts, emphasizing the state government's commitment to boosting the dairy sector and supporting dairy cooperatives. Another highlight was the unveiling of a statue of martyr Amrita Devi Bishnoi in the city forest, honoring her community's sacrifice in protecting the environment. The Chief Minister also met with Praman Sagar Maharaj and learned about the 'Health of Indore Campaign', which has conducted blood tests for approximately 50,000 individuals.
